1. Browse: https://srd.sassa.gov.za/appeals/appeal
2. Input your 13-digit identification number along with your mobile phone number.
3. A PIN will be dispatched to you; please enter this PIN.
4. In the appeals section, choose a month.
5. Provide a concise explanation regarding your SASSA appeal.
6. Upload any necessary supporting documents, including bank statements, identification, and proof of residence.
7. Click on “Submit an appeal.”
8. Review and accept the terms outlined in the Declaration and Consent Documents.
9. Subsequently, we await the decision from the Tribunal for Social Assistance Appeals (ITSAA).

How long is the Duration of SASSA Appeal Process?

Appeal Processing Time: It can take up to 60 to 90 days for SASSA to review and make a decision on your appeal.

You might get the following results of Sassa’s appeal:
Status Approved: Your appeal is approved for the SRD grant and now you will be receiving R370 on the approved payment date.
Status Pending: Your appeal is under review and no decision has been made yet.
Status Declined: Sassa rejected your appeal and you are not eligible for grant.
